ARCW Insurance, Inc. is owned by Chuck Wasson.
Our roots began in 1989 when Sandy Wasson opened the doors to the Sandy Wasson & Associates Insurance agency in Largo, Florida. Sandy’s active involvement in the local community, insurance associations and an alliance with highly regarded insurance companies laid the foundation for what is now ARCW Insurance.
A key milestone in ARCW’s history occurred when Chuck Wasson III assumed leadership as President in 2000. Continuing his family’s tradition as a leader in the industry and community, Chuck’s affiliation with the Pinellas County Medical Association uniquely positions the agency to work with niche businesses in the health care sector. With the acquisition of Bay Area Insurance in 2012, and the need to accommodate an expanding Personal Lines Division, the office moved to Pinellas Park in 2013, rebranding as Wasson Bay Area Insurance. Another milestone was the addition of an Employee Benefits Division through a partnership with Jeff Persky & Associates. This endeavor enhances our offerings to new and existing clients and helps us build customer loyalty and satisfaction by cross-selling and up-selling to meet all their insurance needs.
In December of 2016, we acquired Alley, Rehbaum & Capes Assurance, a long-standing and well-known independent insurance agency in Clearwater, FL. This successful acquisition merged two organizations of similar company culture and resume of service to the community. In addition, it broadened our market footprint, extended our reach, and bolstered our client service resources. Rebranding to ARCW Insurance — recognizing the initials of Alley, Rehbaum, Capes, and Wasson — allowed an honoring of the heritage and history of both organizations, with a fresh outlook on the future.
Our vision for growth is to expand our capabilities as a multi-lines agency and stand apart from our competitors by providing long-term value through a vast array of insurance products, expertise and innovative services. We are also committed to the professional growth of our employees by providing focused training and resources that create more efficiencies.
Of course we must recognize that our continued success comes from our two biggest assets, our customers and employees. Our customers continually show their confidence in us by giving us their continued business, by sharing new opportunities and by recommending us to others as well. We are grateful for that confidence and we continually do all we can to earn it.
